Those who would like to visit other memorial sights related to the Batthyány heritage may be provided further assistance. Those visiting the Heritage Centre of Körmend will be offered various alternatives: not only will they have the chance to see sights but they will also be able to taste culinary specialties. A place called Lictarium (Latin for marmalade) will serve this very purpose: here the region’s farmers will present their products and guests are welcome to taste and buy them. Also, they will be able to learn more from the printed and electronic material presented on the venue. By reintroducing these gastronomic experiences, old remedial and culinary traditions will be revived, which now, in the 21st century, are enjoying a renaissance.
